Volleyball: New Life Academy, Park capture wins on Tuesday night

Park 3, Hastings 1

It was a night of many close sets, but the Wolfpack was able to prevail with the 3-1 win on the road. Hastings took the first set with a 26-24 victory, but Park came back taking the next three sets.

The Wolfpack won the second set 25-22, won the third set 26-24 and won the fourth set 25-20. Park will head back home for its next match on Tuesday, September 18 at 7 p.m. against Forest Lake.

New Life Academy 3, Minneapolis Washburn 1

After two losses on Saturday, the Eagles got back on track with a win against Minneapolis Washburn on Tuesday night. New Life took the first set 25-15, but the second set went to Minneapolis Washburn with a 25-23 score.

The Eagles came back though and won the third set 25-7 as well as the fourth set 25-17 to capture their sixth win of the season. New Life hopes to build that winning streak again on Thursday, September 13 at 7 p.m. as the Eagles host Maranatha.

Champlin Park 3, East Ridge 0

The Raptors traveled to the Rebels on Tuesday night and fell in three straight sets. East Ridge lost the first set 25-14, lost the second set 25-11 and lost the third set 25-20.

East Ridge will continue its road matches as the Raptors travel to Mounds View on Thursday, September 13 at 7 p.m.
