Tennis: Six back on the court for Park

Park has six returnees back from last year's boys tennis team, headlined by senior Logan Ross.

Ross played No. 2 singles last season and is projected to be at the No. 1 singles spot this spring.

Also back for the Wolfpack are seniors Carter Ness and Sam Gallas as two very strong doubles players.

Park also has senior Jaden Tufenk, and sophomores Hunter Lo and Jake Kuemmel returning.

"They're expected to grow with their consistency and make strong contributions," said Park head coach Tony Townsend.

"I am hoping that our experience will allow us to pull out some close matches this year," said Townsend, "The strength of our team will be the leadership from our seniors. We are looking for some of our younger players to step up and help us with depth. I am looking for us to be very competitive in a tough Suburban East Conference."

Park is tentatively scheduled to open the season Friday, April 6, at home against St. Paul Johnson, then play in the East Ridge Invitational Saturday, April 7.
