Boys Basketball: East Ridge, Park earn wins on senior night


East Ridge 62, White Bear Lake 36

It was senior night at the Perch on Tuesday night and the seniors didn't disappoint with a 62-36 win over White Bear Lake.

Patrick Lynott led the Raptors with 14 points, while Ben Carlson was right behind him with 12 points. Courtney Brown Jr. ended the game with 11 points and his brother, Kendall Brown, scored 10 points to help earn the victory.

East Ridge will have one last game on Friday, March 1 as the Raptors travel to Mounds View for a 7 p.m. game. The Friday game will conclude the regular season as the Suburban East Conference champions prepare for the section tournament next week.

Park 74, Mounds View 69

It was also senior night at Park High School and the Wolfpack had a some strong performances by the seniors to earn the 74-69 victory over Mounds View on Tuesday night.

Charlie Gorres led the Wolfpack with 28 points, while Milton Carnes was right behind him wit 21 points. Domenik Block also scored in double digits with 11 points, but he also had a memorable moment to his career as he scored his 1000th point on Tuesday night.

Park also has one more game left in the regular season as the Wolfpack travel to Cretin-Derham Hall at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1. After that game, Park will start preparing for the section tournament next week.
