Middle school names Students of Excellence for January

Submitted photoEight students from Cottage Grove Middle School were selected as "Students of Excellence" for January. Students and their families were honored at a breakfast ceremony Jan. 10. The students were nominated by one of their teachers.
Each student represents the outstanding qualities present in students of excellence; Responsibility, Integrity, Compassion, Commitment. Introductions, made by each nominating teacher, described in detail why each student was selected.
"We're very proud of these students," Principal Elise Block said. "They are doing a great job contributing to the positive climate of Cottage Grove Middle School."
The Cottage Grove Middle School recognition committee supports and organizes the monthly event.
