NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE A PUBLIC SANITARY
SEWER EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF
COTTAGE GROVE, MN
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the City of Cottage Grove will hold a public hearing on the vacation of the Sanitary Sewer Easement over property at 7355 East Point Douglas Road, located in the City of Cottage Grove, MN and legally described as follows:
A 10-foot wide strip as described in Parcel F of Document No. 464899, more particularly described as follows:
That part of the South Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 27, Range 21, Washington County Minnesota, lying Northeasterly of State Trunk Highway No. 61, Southwesterly of Point Douglas Drive, and North westerly of a line drawn south westerly, at a right angle to the southwesterly right-of-way line of said Point Douglas Drive, from a point thereon distant 325.20 feet southeasterly from the intersection of the North Line of said South Half and said southwesterly right-of-way line, the center line of said strip is described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the North line of said South Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17 and the southwesterly right-of-way line of Point Douglas Drive; thence south 88 degrees 59 minutes 04 seconds west, along said North Line of the South Half, a distance of 270.85 feet; thence south 48 degrees 22 minutes 31seconds east 59.47 feet to the actual point of beginning of the center line to be described; thence north 88 degrees 23
minutes 29 seconds east 31.27 feet; thence south 52 degrees 36 minutes 31 seconds east 273.83 feet; thence north 78 degrees 11 minutes 24 seconds east 45 feet; thence south 46 degrees 04 minutes 56 seconds east 67.0 feet and there terminating.

The scheduled hearing is for the purpose of determining whether the above described public sanitary sewer easement should be vacated and discontinued. Persons who desire to be heard with reference to these proposed easement vacations and discontinuances will be given the opportunity to be heard at this public hearing. If you are unable to attend the hearing but would like to provide input, you are encouraged to submit written comments.
