Fresh off a win at the season-opening St. Olaf Showcase, the Raptors girls made it two-for-two, winning the Dewey Minnaert Cross Country Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 5, at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park in Hastings.
Park topped district and Suburban East Conference rival East Ridge 1-0 on Thursday at Wolfpack Stadium to remain undefeated to start the 2013 season.

Park High School’s head softball coach Bob Loshek recently returned from the North American Fastpitch Association national tournament in Des Moines, Iowa. His team, Wilber Lime, captured the men’s “AA” national championship. The Wilber Lime, out of Galesville, Wis., rallied for a 5-4 victory over Palazzo’s Java House of Des Moines to claim the NAFA AA World Series title. Park High School is recognizing the 25th anniversary of the 1988 girls track state championship at its Hall of Fame banquet this year.

The Park boys soccer team won its first games of the 2013 season last week, edging Robbinsdale Cooper 1-0 on the road, before pounding Rosemount 5-1 at Wolfpack Stadium in a pair of non-conference games.
To kick off 2013, the East Ridge girls took first place out of 26 teams at the season-opening St. Olaf High School Showcase on Aug. 30 at St. Olaf College in Northfield, winning the meet for the second-straight year.
The East Ridge girls tennis team opened Suburban East Conference play with a 7-0 sweep of White Bear Lake on Thursday, Aug. 29, in Woodbury.
