A two-vehicle crash shortly after 2:30 p.m. Friday snarled traffic along 80th Street on the Highway 61 overpass in Cottage Grove. Police Sgt. Mike Coffey said a female driving a dark SUV was westbound on 80th Street. The driver was turning left onto southbound Highway 61 when she pulled in front of another vehicle. Coffey said both drivers sustained minor “bumps and bruises.” No one was transported. The driver of the SUV was cited, Coffey said. The scene cleared about a half hour after the crash.
