Tom Stangl, and his children, Abbie and Noah, were the only ones skating on the Heritage Park rink in St. Paul Park on Saturday afternoon because of the cold weather. Abbie, working on her slap shot, was bundled up to the point that only her eyes could be seen. She was practicing with a tennis ball instead of a hockey puck.
