Girls' hockey: Wolfpack win twice in conference play

The Park girls' hockey team did not have any problem generating offense in two wins last week.

The Wolfpack picked up a 7-0 win at home against Woodbury on Tuesday, Dec. 12 before also winning on the road at Roseville 8-3 on Saturday.

Tina Press scored three goals in the 7-0 win against Woodbury on Dec. 12. Goaltender Jocelyn Veary made 21 saves.

Eight different Wolfpack skaters scored in the win at Roseville.

East Ridge

The East Ridge girls' hockey team lost twice last week, including a 4-1 game against a Suburban East Conference opponent.

The Raptors lost 4-1 at home against Cretin-Derham Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 12, with Erin Glancey scoring the lone goal. East Ridge also lost a 3-2 game against Hudson on Saturday, Dec. 16.

Woodbury

The Woodbury girls' hockey team dropped two games against Suburban East Conference teams last week.

Park defeated Woodbury 7-0 on Tuesday, Dec. 12, and Forest Lake also lost 8-1 on Saturday, Dec. 16. Victoria Sweeny scored Woodbury's lone goal against the Royals.
