Swimming andDiving: Wolfpack top Roseville in final SEC dual

The Park boys' swimming and diving team topped Roseville in its final Suburban East Conference dual meet of the season Thursday.

Boone Blaschko and Mack Christianson both took home first-place finishes in two events during the 101-84 Park victory. Blaschko won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.27 seconds and also took first place in the 100 butterfly in 59.03. Christianson topped the 500 freestyle field (4:59.77) and also won the 200 freestyle (1:55.71).

Other individual first-place finishes came from Ross Dietzsch in the 100 freestyle (50.34), Mack Christianson in the 500 freestyle (4:59.77) and Devin Schwartz in the 100 backstroke (1:03.54).

Park's 400 freestyle relay team of Hogan Lawson, Blaschko, Christianson and Dietzsch also took first with a time of 3:31.01.

The Wolfpack will next swim in the Class 2A, Section 3 meet next week at the Bluewater Aquatic Center in Apple Valley. The preliminary heats will be held Feb. 22, while the finals are set for Feb. 24. The section diving competition will be held Feb. 23, at Cottage Grove Middle School.
