The Raptors went 4-0 last week while pounding their opponents by a combined 38-4 run margin.

East Ridge’s bats were hot throughout the week, beginning with 7-1 victories over Cretin-Derham Hall and Hastings. The Raptors shut out Mounds View 10-0 and ended the week by rolling past Park 14-2.

The 4-0 stretch improved East Ridge’s overall record to 8-6, good for fourth place in the Suburban East Conference.

East Ridge pitcher Michaela Anderson was the winner in the May 5 victory over Cretin-Derham Hall. Anderson allowed one run on five hits and recorded four strikeouts.

The Raptors’ Christina Pickett went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Anna Roth led East Ridge batters in the 7-1 win at Hastings on May 6. Roth went 4-for-4 with three RBIs. Anderson was a perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI.

East Ridge scored in five of seven innings in the home victory over Mounds View. The Raptors went up 2-0 after two innings and added a pair of runs in the fourth to make it 4-0. Three-run fifth and sixth innings gave them the 10-0 win.

East Ridge stomped Park 14-2, two days after Park played a 19-inning game against Roseville. The Raptors put four runs on the board in the first inning and went up 7-0 after two innings. Park trimmed the Raptors’ lead to 7-2 in the third inning but East Ridge added another three runs in the fourth inning and finished with a four-run fifth inning.

Anderson had five strikeouts for East Ridge in the win over Park.

The Raptors were scheduled to host Stillwater on Monday and travel to White Bear Lake on Tuesday.
