Park boys lacrosse: Wolfpack feast on Forest Lake, lose heartbreaker to Roseville

Park started strong against Forest Lake with a 5-1 first quarter and cruised to an 18-6 win on Monday, April 28.

Brent Wallace had a team-high seven points with three goals and four assists to lead the Wolfpack to victory. Nick Perry and Zach Bezek each led the offense in goals with five apiece and an assist.

Lauden Rinzel assisted on four goals and scored once. Dan Beck put in a goal on two shots. Overall, the Wolfpack pounded the net with 35 shots.

Clay Dosmann scored and had an assist. Clay Diedrich also had a score and assist. Wolfpack goalie Jeremy Scollick stopped four shots to pick up the win. Gavin Foote, Diedrich and Jan Climaco controlled the face-offs with a combined 64 percent.

The Wolfpack suffered a tough 9-8 loss to Roseville on Wednesday, April 30. The green-and-white had taken a 5-3 lead through three quarters, but the Raiders came up with six goals in the fourth to steal the win.

Rinzel scored three goals and assisted on two scores for a team–high in points. Bezek had two goals and two assists. Diedrich and Wallace each scored a goal, and Wallace assisted on one. Foote, Diedrich and Climaco combined for 41 percent on face-offs. Scollick stopped six shots in the loss.
