If you missed registration and would still like to be a part of the newest exciting club at Park please email both coaches: Pete Soukup at and Wendy Coy at Students must have a Fire Arms Safety Certificate in order to participate on the team. If students do not have one but still want to join the club please indicate that in your email. The Park trap team has a very short window of time to get everyone certified and registered. In your email, please send the following information: the student’s name, grade and if they are certified or not, and both student and parent email information. Registration deadline is Feb. 7.

East Ridge girls lacrosse meeting Feb. 13

The East Ridge High School girls lacrosse program is holding a parent/player/coach meeting on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. in the first floor Green Pod at East Ridge. There, information will be given out about the upcoming season. Player preseason strength and conditioning workouts with coach Rainey are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15-5:15 p.m. Any girls lacrosse player not in a winter sport should plan to be there. Finally, be sure to register on the Girls Lacrosse iHigh website to receive future communications and stay up to date with information.

Skating lessons at Cottage Grove Ice Arena

Cottage Grove offers cost-effective lessons for all ages and abilities year round at the arena. Unlike most sports which require special clothing and gear - all CGIA requires is skates. Spring lessons start the week of Feb. 15. All registrations received before Feb. 3 will qualify for a 10 percent discount. Park dance team hosts annual Kids Camp Feb. 21

The Park High School dance team is hosting their annual Kids Camp for boys and girls grades K-7 on Friday, Feb. 21. Learn skills from members of the Wolfpack dance team, meet new friends, and perform a unique routine at halftime of a basketball game. More information and registration can be found at

East Ridge soccer club spring season starts soon

Looking for a competitive soccer team to join for the 2014 spring/summer season? The East Ridge Soccer Club is excited for the spring/summer season to start and have openings on some of its competitive teams. Please contact if you are interested in joining us or for more information. Spring/summer fees are $335 per player for U9-U10 and $350 for U11 – U18. There is a one-time registration fee of $40. The season runs end of April thru July and includes winter training which has just started.
