It really wasn’t much of a contest.

The East Ridge boys basketball team beat intra-district rival Park 75-29 on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Park High School in Cottage Grove.

The Raptors built a 46-22 lead at halftime and held Park to just seven points after the break to remain undefeated in the Suburban East Conference on the year.

In addition to both being in District 833 and the SEC, East Ridge and Park both compete in Section 3AAA. East Ridge has yet to lose to Park since opening in 2009.

Eleven different players scored for East Ridge (6-2; 3-0 SEC) in the win. Junior guard Sid Tomes led the way for East Ridge with a game-high 19 points. Senior guard Parker Moquist scored nine points and seniors Brian Ishola, Jake Knupp and Ryan Mathis each chipped in eight points.
