St. Paul Park snapped a 12-game losing streak Monday, July 8, with a 5-3 victory over Mahtomedi in the start to a full week of baseball for the Post 98 American Legion team. J.T. Bickel doubled in Sam Domeier and Tavier Simmons while Max Stedt and Jack Dougherty added RBI singles in St. Paul Park's victory in Mahtomedi.

St. Paul Park finished with 10 hits in the game and Kyle Strand threw a complete game, giving up six hits in the win.

5-4 loss to Stillwater

Max Stedt went 4-for-4 with four RBI Wednesday, July 10, in a 5-4 loss to Stillwater in Stillwater.

St. Paul Park scored one run in the first, third, fifth and seventh inning.

Zach Fritz threw four innings in the loss.

7-6 win over Hastings

J.T. Bickel hit a two-run homer Thursday, July 11, for St. Paul Park in a 7-6 victory over Hastings in Hastings.

St. Paul Park finished with 12 hits in the game with Max Stedt going 3-for-4 and Sam Domeier going 2-for-4.

Matt Chermack picked up the victory with five innings of work. Chermack allowed two runs on six hits.

Drops pair to Oakdale

Max Stedt doubled and came around to score St. Paul Park's only run of the game Friday in a 7-1 loss to Oakdale in Cottage Grove.

St. Paul Park fell behind 6-0 in the third inning and never came back.

Falls to Red Wing

St. Paul Park dropped both games of a doubleheader against Red Wing Saturday, July 8, 3-2 and 2-1 in eight innings in Red Wing.

Kyle Strand started the first game and allowed three runs on seven hits, walked two and struck out three.

St. Paul Park had the leadoff hitter reach base three times in the doubleheader, but failed to lay down a bunt in each case.

"We didn't lose those games in the last inning, we lost them earlier in the game when we proved we can't bunt or deliver with runners in scoring position," St. Paul Park head coach Matt Doornink said. "Our failed bunts attempts are unacceptable. The Matt Doornink School of Bunting starts on Monday; we won't have this problem again."

Max Stedt pitched all eight innings in the second game and allowed six hits, walked three and struck out 13 in eight innings.

St. Paul Park mustered just six hits in each game.
