State settles for $850M in 3M lawsuit

St. Paul Park water tower rehab begins

Preventative maintenance began on the Broadway Avenue water tower in St. Paul Park last week.

The city recently purchased a $1.03 million general obligation water revenue note from the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority to fund the project and has set a 20-year repayment schedule.

The tower is in need of general maintenance such as sandblasting, painting and minor structural repairs. The work is being done by Memonomie-based Classic Protective Coatings, Inc., and is expected to be complete in 10 weeks.
