A car collided with a District 833 school bus carrying students Wednesday morning, but there were no reported injuries.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Hillside and Hyde avenues in Cottage Grove around 9 a.m. for the crash. The front driver side of a Nissan sedan was wedged beneath the left side of the school bus and partially under the left rear tires. The cars collided on Hyde just north of Hillside.

Bus occupants included the driver and nine students. Nobody was injured, said Wes Halvorsen, deputy Cottage Grove fire chief. The female driver of the car also was not injured, police said.

The bus was transporting students to the Nuevas Fronteras Spanish immersion school.

Additional information was not immediately available.
