Cottage Grove police reports: Burning violation; Disorderly conduct
A 54-year-old Cottage Grove man was cited on suspicion of a burning violation after reportedly having a small fire April 29 and not putting it out all the way. The fire spread from the yard onto the fence.
A 13-year-old male was transported to the Washington County Juvenile Detention Center after he reportedly punched an adult female April 30 in the 7800 block of Hearthside Avenue.
A new trailer in the 8400 block of Hale Avenue was damaged by what appeared to be a hammer, according to police, April 26. Loss: $300.
An 18-year-old Cottage Grove male, a 14-year-old St. Paul Park male and a 15-year-old Woodbury male were cited on suspicion disorderly conduct April 27 at the Park Grove Library, 7900 Hemingway Ave., for reportedly having a loud conversation using profane language.
Two juvenile males were reportedly found physically fighting in the parking lot of McDonald's, 7355 East Point Douglas Road, April 27. A 14-year-old Cottage Grove male was referred to the Youth Service Bureau on suspicion of disorderly conduct, and a 14-year-old St. Paul Park male was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
BP, 8490 East Point Douglas Road, reported a gas drive-off April 27 for $37.
A vehicle stolen out of St. Paul was recovered in the parking lot of Walmart, 9300 East Point Douglas Road, April 29. There are no suspects.
Menards, 9000 East Point Douglas Road, reported the theft of two air nailer tools April 30. Loss: $400.
A homeowner in the 8400 block of 90th Street reported the theft of a package containing a hoverboard from outside the home. Loss: $130.
