St. Paul Park police reports: Garage tampered with; Money taken from teacher's desk
A garage in the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue was tampered with Oct. 24, leaving a large dent. No items were missing, and there were no suspects.
An 11-year-old male reportedly took various items and $40 from a St. Paul Park resident Oct. 27.
A 12-year-old male was forcibly removed from Oltman Middle School Oct. 25 after stealing $64 from his teacher's desk. The male, who had been referred to Youth Services Bureau before, was argumentative and fought the officer. He was handcuffed in order to be removed from the building and taken to his home. He was cited for theft and obstructing the legal process.
A suspicious male was reported in the 700 block of Third Street shortly before midnight Oct. 24. He reportedly knocked on doors and walked away.
Police arrested Christina Elizabeth Zajac, 49, of St. Paul Park on suspicion of drunken driving and refusal to take a breathalyzer test Oct. 28. Police stopped her after observing her going over 60 mph on Hastings Avenue, according to the report. Zajac did not cooperate during field sobriety tests, and then refused to take a preliminary breathalyzer test. She eventually took the test, resulting 0.13 blood alcohol level.
