St. Paul Park police reports for Jan. 9: Domestic, property damage, disorderly conduct

Recent criminal activity reported in St. Paul Park:


Police were called Dec. 2 to a home in the 1100 block of McCammon Avenue for a reported domestic between a man and woman. The man and woman said they were fighting but there was nothing physical and that their children must have inferred the incident was more serious. The man left. Nobody was cited or arrested.

A St. Paul woman was cited for underage consumption following a domestic incident Dec. 8 at a home in the 1000 block of Holley Avenue. Police were called there after a bystander reported hearing a woman screaming. Police saw a man trying to pull a woman into a house. They stopped and admitted they were fighting. The woman, who was intoxicated, was trying to leave and the man was trying to get her back into the house. The woman was ticketed for underage consumption.

Police were called Dec. 11 to a home in the 1100 block of Fifth Street for a reported domestic incident. Police spoke with a man and woman who admitted that they had been fighting but it was not physical. Nobody was ticketed or arrested.

Police were called Dec. 24 to a home in the 300 block of Pullman Avenue for a reported domestic. A man and woman were arguing in an apartment hallway. The man agreed to leave. Nobody was ticketed or arrested.


Police were called Dec. 9 to Oltman Middle School, 1020 Third St., for a reported assault. A 13-year-old boy was cited for fifth-degree assault after he punched another student multiple times in the face and chest.

A 15-year-old St. Paul Park boy was arrested for second-degree assault after he shot a BB gun from a second-story window near Third Street and Pullman Avenue and struck a window of a vehicle while a man was driving. The teen was booked at the Washington County jail.

A 33-year-old St. Paul Park man was arrested Dec. 18 on suspicion of fifth-degree domestic assault following a domestic incident with his fiance at a home in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue.

A 33-year-old South St. Paul man was arrested Dec. 20 on suspicion of fifth-degree domestic assault after he allegedly pinned his girlfriend on a bed during an argument at a home in the 600 block of Hastings Avenue.

Property damage

A St. Paul Park woman reported Dec. 20 that someone hit her car parked in the 1400 block of Summit Avenue.


SuperAmerica, 545 Summit Ave., reported Dec. 17 that a group of four suspects had stolen $88 worth of merchandise on Dec. 7.

A St. Paul Park woman reported Dec. 27 that she believed her boyfriend stole a package from outside her home in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue.


A Cottage Grove woman was cited for disorderly conduct Dec. 26 after she refused to leave Park Grove Bowl, 1020 Hastings Ave.


Four homes were struck with paintballs on Dec. 22, according to a police report. An officer responding to a paintball vandalism complaint in the 800 block of Eighth Avenue found that houses in the 800 block of Holley Avenue, 1000 block of Eighth Avenue and 800 block of Ashland Avenue also were hit with paintballs. No permanent damage was reported.
