St. Paul Park police reports for Nov. 13: Theft, suspicious activity

Recent criminal activity reported in St. Paul Park:


A St. Paul Park woman reported Oct. 3 that her friend stole her Buick car from her home in the 1100 block of Fifth Street. The car was valued at $3,000.

Police received a report Oct. 2 that a washing machine and kitchen range were stolen from the front yard of a home in the 600 block of Portland Avenue.

Intoxicated male

Police were called Oct. 1 to the Pioneer Apartments, 900 Third St., after an unknown man was found passed out on the community couch. He had been there two hours. Police woke the man, who was obviously intoxicated, and he could not explain why he was there. Police drove him to his friend’s Grey Cloud Trail home.

Suspicious activity

A St. Paul Park woman reported Oct. 3 that a man known to her was sleeping in a shed in her yard. Police found the man, who admitted that he was aware he was trespassing. He was cited for trespassing and taken to a St. Paul homeless shelter.
