St. Paul Park police reports for July 19: Burglary, assault, theft, drugs, property damage

Recent criminal activity reported in St. Paul Park:


A St. Paul Park man reported June 10 that someone broke into his garage in the 900 block of Hastings Avenue and stole a socket set, a stroller and a pair of speakers. There was no sign of forced entry. No suspects were identified.

A man from El Cajon, Calif., reported June 11 that someone stole a furnace and air conditioning unit from a home in the 1000 block of Dayton Avenue. There were no suspects.

A St. Paul Park woman reported June 16 that her home in the 1200 block of Fourth Street was burglarized. Someone entered an unlocked window and stole a TV, laptop computer and an iPod. The incident is under investigation.


A juvenile female told police June 11 she saw a man beating up a woman in Heritage Park. Police found a St. Paul Park man and a woman nearby who matched the description. They admitted to arguing loudly while walking on Ashland Avenue, but both denied an assault took place. "They were advised to behave like civilized human beings when in public," the report said.

A St. Paul Park man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a home and assaulting a woman June 19. The woman called police and said Cameron T. Lloyd, 22, of St. Paul Park, entered her home while she was sleeping, woke her and assaulted her, according to the report. Lloyd was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, two counts of domestic assault and for outstanding warrants.

A 22-year-old St. Paul Park man was cited for fifth-degree assault following a reported assault June 29 at Axelrod Park.


A St. Paul Park woman reported June 11 that a man forced her son to give him his bike to use. The man then left the area of Hastings Avenue and didn't return the bike.

SuperAmerica, 545 Summit Ave., reported an $82 gas drive-off June 11.

A St. Paul Park woman reported June 16 that two bicycles were stolen from her property in the 1400 block of Blossom Lane. Each was valued at $150.

A St. Paul Park man reported June 19 that an unknown male got out of a vehicle in the alley behind his home in the 700 block of Third Street, took his bike and left.

A St. Paul man reported June 22 that a vehicle he drove to his job at SuperMom's bakery, 625 Second St., was stolen during his work shift.


A St. Paul Park juvenile male was cited for disorderly conduct, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to Axelrod Park June 22 on a report of a group of males smoking marijuana.

Property damage

A Cottage Grove man reported June 17 that someone threw a rock through the window of a vehicle parked at Lions Levee Park. The glove box was entered, but nothing was reported stolen.

St. Paul Park Public Works reported June 20 that someone knocked a hole in the cement block wall of the Heritage Park building.

Stone Soup Thrift Shop, 950 Third St., reported June 24 that someone smashed six televisions that had been left outside the shop over the weekend.
