No suspects in burglary at The Point in Hastings

The Holiday gas station at The Point just north of Hastings on Highway 61 was burglarized last month.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office was investigating the case and but had not made any arrests.

A burglary alarm was tripped at the store at 10:54 p.m. Aug. 12. The unknown suspect was in and out of the convenience store in a matter of minutes. The suspect fled the area before Washington County deputies arrived on the scene.

A cleaning crew was working at the adjacent Point restaurant, but they didn't see or hear the suspect.

Deputies have photos from the scene and video surveillance as well. They are reviewing that evidence and have also spoken with a trucker at The Point who told them he saw a car in the area at about the time the burglary occurred.

Anyone with more information on the case is asked to send an email to or by calling their anonymous TipLine at 651-430-7850.
