Locally Grown Theatre summer camp takes 'Wizard of Oz' outdoors

More than two-dozen youths were cast in an outdoor production of “Wizard of Oz” at the close of Locally Grown Theatre’s summer camp last week.

The camp is sponsored by the community theater organization and the Cottage Grove Parks and Recreation Department. The play was staged Friday evening at the amphitheater behind City Hall.

Cast members included: Ana Roney, Myla Price, Anya Lu, Hailey Lusso, Brynn Quick, Jadyn Miller, Audrey Sease, Seth Giebner, Aleachia Cook, Gabby Bruestle, Riley Rumpca, Troy Lowry Jr., Molly Moran, Anna Dale, Reina Lippert, Maya Miller, Bella Fortuna, Leah Franson, Nova Kivi, Finley Baker, Evalyn Hauer, Sophie Hauer, Zoe Pfeiffer, Leslie Switala, Teagan Thiesfeld, Aubrey Price, Ava Staples, Eydie Bruestle, Saffryn Behr, Camryn Beinfang and Ava Radel. 

Camp directors were Emily Olson and Tracy Caponigri. Camp counselors were Reina Lippert, Anna Dale, Molly Moran, Troy Lowry Jr. and Katelyn Quast.
