Strawberry Fest talent show: opera to ukelele

The Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest opened Thursday evening and featured rides, food booths, a kids tractor pull and a talent show. Amaelia LaBine, 7 (left), and Elsa Brosi, 13 aired out their lungs while riding the Yoyo at Kingston Park.

Luke Macke (right) donated a check to Make-A-Wish Minnesota on behalf of the fourth-grade class at Liberty Ridge Elementary. He got the most votes among his classmates in a contest that decided which charity they would donate to.
