Last Thursday, the East Ridge boys swimming and diving team earned its final win for the season, making them undefeated in dual meets for the year and earning the Raptors the right to call themselves Suburban East Conference champions for the first time in history.
The Raptors boys swimming and diving team proved to be for real, earning the biggest win in its four-year history with a 95-91 victory over perennial Suburban East Conference and state power Stillwater on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The team of James Tidd, Sam Scholz, Kent Rabideaux and Garrett Verhoeven shattered the East Ridge High School record in the 200 free relay with a sizzling time of 1 minute, 29.67 seconds and is expected to do big things this winter.
