State Sen. Katie Sieben (DFL-Cottage Grove) announced Friday she is authoring legislation that would provide $10 million in back pay owed to Minnesota National Guard members with state money to be refunded later by the federal government, according to a press release.
State Sen. Katie Sieben (DFL-Cottage Grove) chair of the Senate Elections Subcommittee, announced that she will be introducing legislation in the 2010 session to move up the date of Minnesota’s primary election from September to August.
The Minnesota House of Representatives began debating Wednesday night a bill authored by Sen. Katie Sieben, DFL-Cottage Grove, that would allow early voting, move primary elections to June and change the way absentee ballots are handled.
