East Ridge wrestling: Raptors season ends with loss to No. 1 Apple Valley
The East Ridge wrestling team earned its first-ever postseason win with a 72-9 thumping of Minneapolis South in the “play-in” round of the Section 3AAA tournament. However, No. 1-ranked Apple Valley showed its dominance in the quarterfinals.

Park wrestling: Wolfpack earns school-record 21st dual meet win
The Park wrestling team set a school dual-meet record with 21 wins on the year by beating Suburban East Conference foe Cretin-Derham Hall and non-conference opponent South St. Paul on Thursday, Feb. 9, in a triangular at Cretin-Derham Hall High School.

The Park wrestling team split a pair of duals in its final home meet of the season – a triangular against Mounds View and Henry Sibley on Thursday, Feb. 2, at Park High School - then had a trio of wrestlers reach the podium at the 9th Grade League State Tournament.
