East Ridge football: Raptors’ inaugural season ends
The East Ridge football team’s inaugural season came to a close without a win as the Raptors fell 32-14 to St. Paul Central in the opening round of the Section 4AAAA tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at St. Paul’s Griffin Stadium.

Park football: Henry Sibley ends Wolfpacks' season with shutout
The Park football team's season came to an end in the Section 4AAAAA quarterfinals on Tuesday, Oct. 27 in West St. Paul as the Wolfpack offense was shutout 29-0 by Henry Sibley at Charles Matsen Field. In the game, the Park offense was held to 118 total yards and turned the ball over twice - one fumble and one interception.

The Park football team was dealt the seventh seed in the Class 5A Section 4 playoffs and will face No. 2 seed Henry Sibley, while East Ridge avoided a first-round match up with Mahtomedi and will take on St. Paul Central on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
