The Washington County Board approved a $166.9 million 2012 budget that cuts spending by roughly 4 percent and asks for fewer dollars from county property taxpayers. Despite cuts in county spending in 2012, the budget includes pay raises for Sheriff Bill Hutton and County Attorney Pete Orput.
