Patricia (Meyer) Perkins, age 78, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 15, surrounded by her loving family.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, and continuing 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Dear friends and family of Patricia, My name is Jessica and I am a volunteer in your area. I did not personally know Patricia, but I am writing your family to share some hope in this time of lose. Death is never easy and can bring much grief and sorrow. In God's word the Bible, Jehovah God gives us a beautiful promise for the future. In John 5:28,29 we read, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Very soon God will resurrect our dead loved one who have fallen asleep in death to a marvelous paradise earth (Psalms 37:29). These are promises soon to be fulfilled, take comfort in the fact that God remembers Patricia and all those who have fallen asleep in death and will one day near in the future resurrect them.
