Leona S. Rumpca, age 78, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 28, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved mother of Renee (Scott) Gerry, Gary, Steve, Cindy (Dennis) Schaffhausen, and Sandra (Steve) Bruflodt; loving grandmother of Troy (Erika) Gerry, Tyson Gerry, Bradley, Britney, Jamie Bruflodt, Jesse Bruflodt, Steve Jr., and Kyle Schaffhausen; great-grandmother of Mason Gerry, Wyatt Gerry, Grace Gerry; sister of Lily (Joseph) Rumpca, Janet (Gary) Cooper, John Jr. (Linda) Kulesa, Judy (John) Keintz, Roger (Joyce) Kulesa, Therese Gruby, Bernadette (Dennis) Kurkowski, Randy Kulesa; and special caretaker, Cindy Avila, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by loving husband, Adam, and brother James Kulesa.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park. Visitation 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, with a 7 p.m. rosary service, at the church. Interment at the church cemetery.
