Peggy H. Smith of Inver Grove Heights and St. Paul Park. Peggy (Meyers) Smith passed away July 26.
She was born in Walnut Grove, Minn., on March 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Emily and Herman Meyers. She was the former owner of Bill's Bar in St. Paul Park.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Day Smith; son Terrance; seven brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by son Timothy (Joyce) of St. Paul; daughter-in-law Virginia of Merritt Island, Fla.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many relatives.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at Newport Lutheran Church, 900 15th St., Newport. Burial Newport Cemetery.
