Eleanor J. McGee, age 91, of Newport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27.

Eleanor J. McGee, age 91, of Newport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27.
Preceded in death by husband, Barton, and nine brothers and sisters.
Survived by children, Robert (Alice), Gregory (Jayne), Kathleen (Larry) Oman; grandchildren, Kelly, Chad, Jennifer, Maureen, Connor, Caitlin; great-grandsons, Liam and Geoffrey; sister Roselyn; and special nephew, Tom.
Funeral service beginning with American Legion Auxiliary prayer service 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, Minn., with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Special thanks to the Good Shepherd Community in Sauk Rapids for their loving care of our mother during her last year. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Nasseff Heart Center, 333 N. Smith Ave., St. Paul, MN 55102.
