Brett Thomas Mamer, age 37, of St. Paul Park, died suddenly on Nov. 14 in Oklahoma, where he had been working for Northern Air Corp.
Brett Thomas Mamer, age 37, of St. Paul Park, died suddenly on Nov. 14 in Oklahoma, where he had been working for Northern Air Corp.
He was a member of Plumber's Union, Local #34. Brett enjoyed racing cars and snowmobiling.
He is survived by fiancée, Katie Royer of St. Paul Park; mother, Jennifer (Bill) Bohn of Lake Elmo; father, Thomas Mamer (Karen Schneider) of Cottage Grove; sister, Carrie Gallo of Cottage Grove; niece, Riley Gallo; grandparents Raphael “Bud” and Naomi Slack, and Betty Mamer; aunts and uncles, Richard (Judy) Slack, David (Diane) Slack, Donald Slack (Cheryl), Robert Mamer (Sandy), and Patricia (Rick) Overholser; extended family; the Royer family; and many friends, especially Brad Kallem. He was preceded in death by grandfather Ambrose Mamer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Brett at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at St. Ambrose of Woodbury Catholic Church, 4125 Woodbury Drive. Visitations will be 1 hour prior to Mass at church and from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, 651-738-9615.
