Ginette Schnegelberger, 75, of St. Paul Park, died peacefully Monday evening, Nov. 14, with her children Mike and Lisa by her side

Ginette Schnegelberger, 75, of St. Paul Park, died peacefully Monday evening, Nov. 14, with her children Mike and Lisa by her side.

Ginette Schnegelberger was born Jan. 8, 1936, in LaRochelle, France, the daughter of Clement and Therese (Buisson) Brousseau. Ginette came to the United States in 1958 and later married David Schnegelberger in April of 1967.

Ginette loved to travel with David and family, especially back to her home country of France. She had a love for animals, in particular her cats. Ginette cared about her neighborhood of St. Paul Park. She loved to entertain and cook for her family and neighbors. She lived an amazingly healthy 75 years until her cancer diagnosis in July 2011. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. For the last ten years Ginette was dedicated to caring for her husband during his battle with Alzheimer's. She will be deeply missed.

Ginette is survived by her husband, David; son, Mike (Lisa); sisters, Andrea (Willard) Watts and Marinette Claquin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bernard Brousseau.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
