Sophomore John Horner and the ninth-seeded New Life Academy baseball team won its first Section 4A game on Friday, May 25, 11-1 over eighth-seeded Trinity. The win moved the Eagles to the second round. NLA faced No. 1 seed West Lutheran on Tuesday, May 29, after the Bulletin went to print.
