East Ridge freshman Jack Midtlien took fourth place in the Suburban East Conference championship meet on Thursday, Jan. 31, at Afton Alps. His time of 1 minute, 2.04 seconds was under a second-and-a-half back of first place and helped the East Ridge boys claim second place overall.
