Park sophomore R.J. Alowonle won the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdle preliminaries at the Section 3AA Championships. In the 110 hurdles Alowonle ran a 15.09 time to win by .12 of a second and a time of 39.46 in the 300 hurdles to win by .87 of a second.
