PUBLIC NOTICE

The City Council of the City of Cottage Grove has adopted Ordinance No. 874. This ordinance amends City Code Title 2-1-1, Establishment of Boards and Commissions; and adds Title 2, Chapter 8, Environmental Commission. This amendment established a new commission, the Environmental Commission. The entire text of Ordinance No. 874 is available for inspection at Cottage Grove City Hall during regular business hours and is posted at the Washington County Park Grove Library.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Cottage Grove, Minnesota will meet at 7:30 p.m. on March 17, 2010, at the Cottage Grove City Hall, 7516 80th Street South, Cottage Grove, Minnesota, to consider the making of an improvement on the following streets: Ideal Avenue So. from 110th Street So. to 113th Street So.; 110th Street So. from Ideal Avenue So. to Cul-de-sac; 113th Street So. from Ideal Avenue So. to Cul-de-sac; 113th Court So. from Ideal Avenue So. to Cul-de-sac; 113th Street So. from Ideal Avenue So. to Inman Avenue So.; Inman Avenue So. from 113th Street So. to 115th Street So.; 115th Street So. from Inman Avenue So. to BNSF railroad crossing; River Acres Road from BNSF railroad crossing to end of public right-of-way; pursuant to Minn. Stat. Chapter 429.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvements is the 2010 Pavement Management River Acres (District H) Area. The estimated total cost of the improvement is $1,646,123.19. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.

The purpose and intent of this ordinance to amend the Planned Unit Development Ordinance to include new standards set forth in the Comprehensive Plan, change the Concept Plan procedure and submittal requirements, and to add a PUD Zoning District subject to regulations set forth by this ordinance.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON INTENTION TO ISSUE GENERAL OBLIGATION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN BONDS AND THE PROPOSAL TO ADOPT A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN THEREFOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of St. Paul Park, Minnesota, will meet on March 15, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, in St. Paul Park, Minnesota, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on (a) the intention to issue general obligation capital improvement plan bonds in an amount not to exceed $600,000 and (b) the proposal to adopt a capital improvement plan therefor. The proceeds of the bonds will be issued, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521, for the purpose of refunding the $1,080,000 Refunding Certificates of Participation, Series 2004 originally issued to finance the construction of a new city hall and fire hall building within the City. All persons interested may appear and be heard at the time and place set forth above.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority is seeking competitive proposals from responsible entities for Community Liaison/Resident Resources Coordinator services. The services to be provided are as follows: 1) to promote and maintain positive working relationships between HRA residents, neighborhoods, and communities; 2) to assist HRA residents in gaining stability and self reliance, including administration of the Public Housing Family Self Sufficiency Program; 3) to act on behalf of the HRA in public forums regarding HRA resident issues; and 4) to facilitate The Woodlands team meetings to foster a positive sense of community and to create a safe and healthy atmosphere.
