Portion of Jamaica to close Aug. 6

All lanes of traffic on Jamaica Avenue between East and West Point Douglas Road will close beginning Monday, Aug. 6, in preparation for the construction of two roundabouts at the Highway 61/Jamaica Avenue interchange, city engineer Jennifer Levitt said last week.
