Viewpoint: Compassion needed in school lunch fee collection

Several weeks ago, the South Washington County Child Nutrition Department sponsored a “customer appreciation day.” I commend the department for showing appreciation for their customers — allowing students to help select the menu for the day and serving them a really special lunch.
