Viewpoint: It’s time to invest in transportation

If it isn’t already obvious to anyone who drives our roads or sits in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the way to and from work, Minnesota’s transportation system is faltering. For 20 years, Minnesota met the goal of having 70 percent or more of its highways with a smooth surface.
