NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER A REQUEST FOR A REZONING AND A MINOR SUBDIVISION THROUGH A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT Notice is hereby given that the Newport Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 12th, at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter, in the City Hall Council Chambers at the Newport City Hall, 596 7th Ave., Newport, MN, to consider an application from Martin Vietoris, 2154 Hastings Avenue, Newport, MN 55055 for a Rezoning Request and a Minor Subdivision. The request is for four (4) parcels located at the corner of Ford and Valley Roads, Newport, MN and is zoned B-2 (General Business). The request is to change the rezoning from B-2 to R-1 to allow for a minor subdivision. The minor subdivision is for three (3) single-family homes.
