Candidates begin to file in south Washington County-area legislative races

Derrick Lehrke, a Cottage Grove City Council member who is running as a Republican for House District 54A, filed for election on Tuesday, his birthday. Dan Schoen, a St. Paul Park resident and Cottage Grove police officer, is expected to file to run as a Democrat in House District 54A.
