TO CONSIDER A ZONING AMENDMENT REQUEST TO THE NEWPORT ZONING ORDINANCE AND MAP TO REZONE 910 12TH STREET FROM A RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY (R-1) DISTRICT TO A MIXED USE DOWNTOWN (MX-1) DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that the Newport Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter, in the City Hall Council Chambers at Newport City Hall, 596 7th Ave., Newport, MN, to consider a Zoning Amendment Request to the Newport Zoning Ordinance and Map to rezone 910 12th Street from a Residential Single Family (R-1) District to a Mixed Use Downtown (MX-1) District.
