Great food and great service. I had my first Ham and Cheese Omelette 10 years ago there and continue to go back 1-2 a month for the Omelette..(I have branched out and have tried their special Blueberry Oat cakes, which were amazing). It's great going into a place to eat where you are greeted with a smile and they know how you take your coffee. If you have not made your way to the North Pole, I would highly recommend and guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I love the North Pole! Besides their eggs Benedict and hot chocolate with extra whip cream, I enjoy how the owners and servers sincerely value their customers’ experience. Mary, and now Brian, are very visible seating guests, greeting tables, and taking drink orders - while the servers’ familiarity with the menu allows them to offer helpful suggestions. I appreciate how they all work as a team to promptly clear away empty plates from the table. It is comforting to see that the next generation has decided to join the family business.

The North Pole has been a favorite for our family for many years. Great and friendly service and the best breakfast in the cities. Can't beat the prices. Fortunately it appears the next wave of the North family will be around to continue the tradition.

as a Newport resident I hope the kids bring a better level of service to the places. I use to eat a the restraunt until one day my food was undercooked. I could live with the food being subpar, they were busy. What shocked me was when I went to pay they asked how everything was, I told them it was bad and that the toast wasn't even toasted. They basically accused me of lying. I didn't really care about the food, I was willing to pay for it and I would have stopped back. But when they tell me I am wrong and my bad expirience wasn't that bad I was insulted and haven't been back since.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary when she was in high school, she waited tables and I was the fry cook...Hi Mary, this is Pat Corcoran, my mom, Lorraine was the manager. You always had a smile on your face and was great to work with, but the winters got a little too cold so my brother Mike and I moved to Hawaii and never looked back. I'm glad to see you and Dave are holding the place together, you still look great and you still have that great smile. God Bless you guys, Pat Corcoran
