David, where did you send it to then? Did you contact city hall people. If this is the case that's a major issue to me.

David, You said that you wrote to all of the Council & Mayor. I am not sure about the rest of them, but, as for me, I honestly have not received that contact from you. If you do contact me directly, I will respond. I will not post my responses on this format though. It's too easy for comments to be taken out of context. Thanks, councilmemberjen@aol.com

I think the city should get ahead of the curve on this. If Cap and Trade passes, none of us will be able to afford heating our homes, paying for electricity, or driving our cars anyways. People are going to have to be allowed to generate their own electricity through alternative means if they want to (even if they are an eyesore). Hopefully the costs of turbines will come down as more people start to buy them. Another unintended consequence of the creaping socialism that a majority of Americans voted for last year.

I hope there is more follow up on this. Was the commission not worthy of the city’s time therefore they didn’t bother to give them the entire argument they planned to present to the council? And this article also states facts regarding land value where the city staff person stated he talked to a couple local realtors. This scenario should be treated like a bug in your soup at your favorite eatery; embarrassing for the chef and you get a freebie. You’d probably expect the manager to come out and apologize too.

This should be approved with no questions. The time they build homes if ever over there, this will not be and issue. Think Green.
