“Fare for All Express,” a cooperative food buying program that sells packages of fruit, vegetables and frozen meat for up to 40 percent off retail prices, is distributed to area residents the second Thursday of the month at All Saints Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Blvd., in Cottage Grove. Packages range in price from $10 to $30. The next distribution is 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 14. The program is open to all; no preregistration is required. Packages can be paid for with cash, credit, debit and EBT cards. For details, visit www.fareforall.org or call 763-450-3880. A minimum of 12 volunteers is needed to help distribute food each month.
