Members of the Newport Masonic Lodge are hosting an information session about the Minnesota KidsID program at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at the Masonic Center, corner of Broadway and Summit avenues, in St. Paul Park. Anyone interested in learning more about the program or volunteering for a June KidsID event in Cottage Grove is welcome to attend. KidsID is a program sponsored by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Minnesota. At a KidsID event each child receives a computer disc containing their fingerprints, a voice recording, photo, height, weight and DNA. There is no cost to parents.
